Dongguan overview

Dongguan Travel Guide
Many of those who visit Dongguan will do so via Hong Kong, as flying into Hong Kong and then entering the mainland is a very popular plan for travellers. Dongguan has benefited from its location on the Pearl River Delta, as well as its proximity to some of the more populous cities in China, namely Guangzhou. The Chinese love to have the biggest or best of something and have thus constructed the South China Mall, which is currently the biggest mall in the world. If trudging around in a giant mall with literally hundreds of thousands of people in it sounds like your version of hell, don’t worry, there are other things to do. Because it is so close to Hong Kong, Dongguan has a large foreign population which has led to more western style restaurants and bars for those who are sick of eating noodles.
