Yiwu overview

You probably wouldn’t have heard of Yiwu unless you are a resident or a domestic corporate traveller who go here for business. Yiwu is a small provincial city located outside of Shanghai, and not often visited by first time travellers, ad there is very major tourist attractions located here, so don’t forget to bring travel scrabble! The city of Yiwu features the usual sites such as pagodas, temples and museums which can be found in most other cities in China; however there is a large market which sells a large variety of home wares, gifts, beads, jewellery and seasonal goods which would quench the thirst for travellers with an interest in shopping. Most travellers who head to Yiwu would arrive via Shanghai and take the bus. A limited range of accommodation is on offer, mostly catering for the domestic business market.
