Zhongshan overview

Zhongshan Travel Guide
Zhongshan, a city in Guangdong, is the hometown of China’s first president; Sun Yat Sen. Despite the city’s historical importance, there is no airport in Zhongshan. The city however can be easily accessed from Zhuhai and Guangzhou airports. In addition, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau airports are other possibilities. Zhongshan is a small city by Chinese standard. There are small lakes and hot spring resorts around Zhongshan and a major tourist draw is Sunwen Road West – located in Zhongshan’s Old Town – and it is lined with hundreds of restored colonial buildings mostly built during the 1920s. Tourists need not worry about transportation in the city as taxis within Zhongshan are cheap and metered, while city buses are clean and fast.
